Amy Winehouse's father Mitch has issued an emotive plea to British police not to arrest his troubled daughter after she was filmed taking Class A drugs. Video footage surfaced of the Rehab star smoking crack cocaine and snorting ecstasy at her East London home on Friday.
Cops have now seized the video evidence - which was obtained by U.K. tabloid The Sun - to see if Winehouse will face any charges over the incident. However dad Mitch has appealed to authorities to be lenient.
He says, "We're very concerned but seeing her arrested is the last thing any of us want. That would be terrible. Obviously I'm worried about Amy. Wouldn't you be if you had a daughter in that state?"
