Velvet Revolver has been forced to cancel upcoming shows in four Japanese cities, as immigration authorities have denied the band’s request for visas.
In a statement, a band spokesperson says "increasingly tough" Japanese immigration officials took exception to the backgrounds of various Velvet Revolver members, which have included arrests.
Velvet Revolver will proceed with its Australian tour on Dec. 4 in Brisbane, as Australia has always welcomed outlaws with open arms.
